Drowning A Fly

Please no comments on how the hackles are suppose to keep the fly on the surface of the water.  Call this one artistic freedom.

Also, This is the last day to take advantage of the special deal on the trout prints.  Any questions on what this deal was please refer to Mondays post, take a look at the prints I have available at the top of the page, and then Email me to purchase.

I think that most of the time, the flies probably float more like this, than prettily floating on the hackle-tips.

Thanks for the comments on my blog Joel. I have been following your blog but haven't commented that often. They would just be come repetative. Great painting......

A fly floating as such is going to be eaten.

I really like this one.

Right or wrong...I like it. The splashes of color pop and I'm impressed with how you achieved the depth of the waterline. Solid work as always.

Joel, thanks for joining Wind Knots & Tangled Lines. I've visited your site a time or two because I admire anyone who has got artistic ability like you have. I've got some catching up to do, but I sure like what I see.
