Once again: To enter for a chance to win this original watercolor of the Golden Trout just leave a comment on this post. The winner will be selected randomly out of all the comments. Please, if you run a web site or blog LEAVE your own blog address in the comments so others can visit you as well.
My next post will be in the first week April and will include the name of the winner.

Man, I really hope I win this. I have caught golden trout a few times before in the Sierra's. Truly sacred creatures.
Here is my blog http://fishwithkev.blogspot.com/
It's been a pleasure following your blog Joel.
Looks like a great painting, but if I win, I assume everyone would cry foul...it may look rigged or something.
Joel, it has been my pleasure to "discover" A Year on the Fly and I'm happy to have some of your art hanging on my wall. I need to figure out how to hang up the flybox. It's too pretty to use.

Joel,
As I look at the colors of the Golden Trout, it looks to be fresh out of the water, very vibrant and almost life like.
This is how I view your work. Framed and still, but so much alive.

Joel, I am baffled how you can capture the beauty of the trout on paper. I will be soon a proud owner of one of your creations and maybe there will be another one...?

Beautiful work. Thank you for reminding me of the beautiful little Golden Trout. It's been too long since I've seen one.

Joel I don't always comment but love looking at your work. This one is just as beautiful as the others.
Call me crazy but secretly I wish they'd introduce golden trout to PA. lol Just absolutely beautiful fish.
I really love watercolors and you do some excellent work. I find the connections between art and fly tying/fishing very interesting! Found your blog through a connection from Alan's Small Stream reflections blog

Check your blog weekly but this is my first post. Always enjoy your work! Same as John I am probably not allowed to win but keep up the great work.
Beautiful artwork that I would be proud to hang on my walls!
Well, Joel, I have been hanging around your blog since way back in the beginning I think. Have always admired your work and ever so often left a comment or two. Your paintings are excellent and I would be proud to have some on the wall at Blog Cabin Angler.

Hey Joel. I find it interesting that this blog thing, once created, has a life of it's own. I know when I started mine,

all I wanted was to let the locals know what I was catching, with what, and where. After that, I had no control.

Wonderful work, truly creative. I going to call in from time to time and follow.
